How often should you get a HydraFacial?

4 min read

The HydraFacial is one of the few treatments that delivers visible results the same day with no downtime, which makes it tempting to book often. But like any treatment, it works best on a rhythm that matches what your skin actually needs — not on a schedule driven by impatience.

The monthly baseline

For most clients, a monthly HydraFacial is the sweet spot. Skin naturally turns over on roughly a 28-day cycle, and a monthly treatment keeps congestion, dullness, and dehydration from building back up between visits. It is the cadence we recommend for maintenance once your skin is in a good place.

When to come more often

If you are working through congestion or dullness, we may suggest a short series spaced two to three weeks apart to get ahead of it, then settle into the monthly rhythm. This is common at the start of a skin plan, before transitioning to maintenance.

The event exception

A HydraFacial is one of the best pre-event treatments because it leaves skin luminous with no recovery window. For a wedding or photoshoot, we recommend booking one to two days before rather than the morning of — the glow settles beautifully overnight.

Consistency beats intensity. A monthly HydraFacial you keep for a year outperforms a quarterly one you forget to book.

Pairing it with other treatments

The HydraFacial pairs well with microneedling or a chemical peel on an alternating schedule — one month hydration, the next month collagen or resurfacing. That combination keeps the skin both smooth and structurally strong over time. We build the exact cadence around your skin at consultation.
